This week's featured artist is a good one.

Sam Woolf is a folk/pop singer-songwriter that has really made a name for himself in the industry. Woolf, a finalist on American Idol in 2014, has garnered millions of views on YouTube, co-headlined with the Doobie Brothers and recorded an EP with a Grammy Award-winning producer (that hit No. 9 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart) - all by the age of 20.

According to his bio, Woolf taught himself how to play guitar and his father, Scott, introduced him to the acoustic/folk/rock genre while his grandfather sent him for singing lessons. Woolf began performing at local gigs during high school and attended a summer program for high schoolers at Berklee College of Music, where he was one of only a few to perform in a "showcase" and be referred to audition for American Idol.

The rest, as they say, is history as Woolf became a finalist on Idol and has since been hard at work on original music, including the aforementioned EP and a new original song. That song is called "Stop Thinking About It" and is being featured here today. The new tune has a very infectious beat and a cool message behind it. This one will definitely be on repeat.
