The 2018 College World Series kicks off in Omaha, NE this weekend. UNC Baseball gets to play in the first game of this year’s festivities against a familiar foe, Oregon State (read more, here). I had the opportunity to help send off the team to Omaha on Wednesday and it was awesome! There was a nice turnout of fans and I could tell the guys were appreciative of us being there. I was even able to meet Heels catcher/outfielder, Brandon Martarano (pictured right). Go Heels!

2. #BullDurham30

Tonight, the Durham Bulls will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the famed Bull Durham . As the Bulls take on Gwinnett, there will be several in-game moments dedicated to the film and its place in Durham’s history. In addition, the team will wear special jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit charity. It should be an amazing evening!

3. The Incredibles is Finally Here

IT’S HERE! After 14 long years, we finally have a sequel to Disney/Pixar’s The Incredibles! The film released Thursday night with a heck of a lot of expectation. I know I can’t wait to see it myself (yes, I’m still a child haha) and be sure to stay tuned for my review of the film!

4. Don’t Invite Your NFL Kicker Dad to a Kickball Game

This made my week! What happens when the family of Carolina Panthers kicker, Graham Gano, invites him to play a fun game of kickball? Well, see for yourself...

5. My Review of Adrift

I released a review of the new film Adrift on Thursday evening. Be sure to take a minute or two to read it if you get a chance! Check it out HERE.
